    [CL base attempt #3] TH9 labyrinth farming base

    DEFINITELY needs some tweaks with point defenses and outside walls. Other than that, opinions?

    Not a great labyrinth. AI pathing is huge in Laby's and this base lacks the depth needed. Try a different style

    The point of a labyrinth design is to split up different troops according to their AI. For example make the giants go one way towards a defense and spring trap them while you lead gobs to the other direction by a mine/collector/storage and have two big GBs blow up in their faces, with the current positioning of buildings that isn't possible but if you move some buildings around this may happen.

    EDIT: For example swap the top left AD with the gold storage, this will allow the gobs to lead off from the giants

    Thanks, designed this pretty quickly and was my first labyrinth try.

    Pros:
    - Basics

    Cons:
    - Everything is open, but no funneling, meaning the base is just easier to destroy
    - Storages are near to the edge and can be reached with farming armies

    No funneling? All i see is funneling.

    No, the storages on the bottom and top are too close to the edge for my comfort.

    The funneling is there, but ranged troops like archers and wizards are very common in farming armies, and they will shoot over the walls, easily taking your gold.

    whats your view on funneling? haha..

    i advise you look at alot of other bases and check out ai pathing, in labyrinths U must know this!!!, also be carefull with wall placement....you dont want wb activaating traps, nice first try though!!
