Game Center: Switching between accounts issue

Sorry about the double post, but as I said in the other thread, restoring an old iTunes backup worked on my iPad, I'm able to access my primary account again. Not sure about iCloud backup though.

I've just learned that there may be a difference, depending on iOS version. In iOS 6, you log out through the Game Center app.

oh ok, mine is IOS 8, I can only logout from the Settings / GC option... I did what you said, logged out from Settings / GC, shut it... opened GC, it asked me to login with my ID, I did, started the game from GC itself still the other village loads... after game starts it shows Logged into my original GC but the pop up does not come... It may be possible that this is IOS 8 related, can anyone else confirm if switching is possible in other IOS ?

Yes, why wouldn't they? Sure, maybe youre poor and could only afford one $900 tablet but most people, especially with cellphones, have one owner. Your relationship with your wife may be considered 100%, 50/50 shared cooperation but most people have an understood ownership. It sounds like that iPad is actually yours, you just allow the misses to use it occassionally.

You are responsible for your device. Even if she signed up for it herself, physically, you still authorized the use on her behalf.

Which ever way you want to spin it, Supercell won't see it that way.

It says I can only have one account. It doesn't say anything about more than one person using their accounts on the same device. You're welcome.

I have an account. My wife has an account. Two people, each have ONLY ONE ACCOUNT. Where does it say that two people, each having an account, can't use those accounts on the same device?

I quoted their support info, and if it was against the TOS, they would have stated that instead of "recommending" not to use multiple villages on a single device.

I had the same problem last night, woke up this morning and it was working fine. I managed to change between my accounts a few time but now it has stopped working again!! 😳😁😳

Apparently iOS 6 is immune from this issue. I am on iOS 6. Sorry.
