Beginner:
If you believe your a beginner, join beginner, Advanced, join advanced.
If your too advanced (This can be judged by ourselves), you get out into the advanced one, which will be the one you'll always participate in. If your considered as beginner, I'd say give them a bit of freedom to be able to do both advanced and beginner to get more experience for them.

I suggested that earlier but Germ was worried that people might ♥♥♥♥♥ the system by being pros and entering beginner just to win.

I think 500 for Beginner, 1000 for Expert. That is a decent prize, not huge but its a nice little enticement to attract people to participate

We came up with that before but my reply was:

Even Recricon and Ema can say, "Oh we're beginners..." But really, we all know that they are the best. This can create a bit of flaming and a breakdown between artists. Newer people saying you belong up high, what are you doing here?!

But then we can't define experience as how much time you've been here because Ema recognises people half her time with GFX are better.

So defining yourself is a bit biased...

And also, why not have more gems for the more Advanced Competitions???

Yeas, you could decide to move yourself up but moving down would be a consideration taken by some "high people in authority" known as the committee we were talking about....

So if you wanna move up and FEEL like you can fit. They can give you a trial of one competition and see if you like it..
If you win more than 3/5 beginner comps, you'll be moved up.

But 3 comps sounds a bit crowded. I have to repeat everything for everyone....
