The idea: Split a single clan into 2 evenly-divided teams and let them go to war with each other.
The specifics:
- War loot would be elixir and dark elixir only at an amount that would roughly cover the typical cost of the attacking army. Losing army would get nothing.
- A special icon in clan list, extra XP, or contributions to the war star achievement (not to mention bragging rights) would be the reward for a win.
- Same war cool down as with regular CW.
- Possibly limit intra-clan war to once/month (it would get boring really fast to attack the same clanmate's base especially when u know what would work and what wouldn't)
- Clans would need to have minimum size of 20 in order to break into teams of at least 10 players. Teams would not have to be multiple of 5's.
Our 45-member clan recently took great pains to split ourselves into two evenly-matched 20-person clans and started war search at the same time. We are an extremely active clan, and this was probably as excited as we've ever been, so it was a great disappointment (though not entirely unexpected) when, after 30 minutes, we were matched against other clans.
I tried searching for this idea but couldn't find anything. It's a derivation of the "dueling/challenge/simulator/sparring" idea, but done in a way that allows practicing/challenging within the framework of existing game systems. I think people would dig it.

and vice versa ofcourse
