Lets be honest we all want better troops. But to your point maybe they wanted the x-bow so bad...they skipped dragons along the way?

You get Xp points every defensive and offensive upgrade. So yeah someone could have level 1 archers and be town hall 10 and this number not reflect that. I feel like any omission (offense or defense) will show as rush?
So far this is the best idea and number I've seen. Its simple, its quick and it places a value on it...how that number is interpreted ..I dunno
Unfortunately you wrong. Upgrading troops, spells, and heroes does not reward any experience points. Thus your statistic is focused entirely on defensive progression and does not incorporate offensive progression.

Of course, with this last update, it is incredibly easy to see where someone is on their offensive progression just by clicking their profile. I forgot about that fact when I replied. So in any case, you can just compute your statistic and then glance at their profile before making your decision. In all, I'd say useful.

On an off-topic, I would love it if Supercell would give us more profile statistics to better screen potential clanmates. For example, average attacks/war, stars/war, etc...

so my main acc is th 8 lvl 83
    8*8=64
    83-64=19
    19/8=2.375

on my alt im th 7 lvl 50
    7*7=49
    50-49=1
    1/7=0.14

    but still,wat does tht indicate?
im an almost maxed th 7,with just a wizard tower and teslas to upgrade left
but i havent donated much.....does tht mean im a rusher?
after the last upgrades on the last account ..relook at the number...but it doesn't indicate anything except to compare everyone
id love to hear a better way... but I maxed 7 ..and when I upgraded my number never was negative
as soon as we see someone new who's number is bad we look hard ...its just another idea to think on

its quick and on global I can say yes or no based on the numbers

All of this is still inaccurate as destroying th's give u the number of experience of what lvl the th is. In the end u can't track all that

Not to mention, you get experience for clearing obstacles and completing achievements. In short, your level is nothing more than a reflection of how long you've played the game and your level of activity.

The statistic is still useful as a screen. However, there will always be outliers in statistics.

One look at the base and I can instantly approximate what level exp you are.

I actually do this for fun after raiding a certain base and checking my log.
    So far im always correct

Of course I approximated it by tens, not the exact level.

Usually, the experience level is a good measuring stick as "rushed" indicator.

If I overestimated it, it means he probably have nice walls

    good point
My statistic is nothing more then a reflection of how long someone has played the game, relative to someone's activity, as it relates to someone's town hall level... and yes it isn't all inclusive and there will be outliers
Those are honestly the questions I want answered but it also factures in how rushed they are since town hall is the biggest thing in the equations? well just me

I think your statistic will work well on the obvious rushers. It's less useful on fringe cases and on cases in which the Clasher has sniped more THs, cleared more obstacles, and completed more achievements than the average Clasher for his respective Town Hall level. I'm assuming you'll factor out their friend in need as another poster suggested.

My rule of thumb is if their walls and splash damages are 2+ levels lower than max for their TH then they've rushed. If their offensive progression doesn't offset their defensive weaknesses, then you probably shouldn't accept them.

Dude, in our first clan there is a lv100 guy. He had pretty much maxed Town Hall 8 but then he had 2 Lv10 barracks and low collector. I have seen lv83 dudes better than him. I'm a mid town hall 8 , lv73. Sometime lv67 guys raids me and I see that they actually are more maxed than me. So, counting on EXP level is totally invalid in some places. I identify them by their village, Gold grab, elixir escapade, Heroic heist, War Hero and Spoil of war. And with the new update their troop level.
