You would have to factor in their "Friend in Need."

First, you would get your total experience:

    Level * (Level - 1) * 25 = Total Experience

Then you would find what level you would be if you subtract your Friend in Need:

Total Experience - Friend in Need = Exp

    x(x - 1) * 25 = Exp

    and solve for x.

Choose the positive number to get the adjusted level.

What is your level and your Friend in Need? I'll show you what I mean.

yeah I feel like when I said take the lifetime donation (friend in need) multiply it by 0.003 and subtract it from xp it would do that but ok..

    Level 69
    town hall 8
    friend in need--12656

im intrigued..and thx for the help

    I got 1.555555....

Where do you draw the line and decide if they're rushed?

    Okay, so:

    69 * 68 * 25 = 117300 = your total experience

    117300 - 12656 = 104644 = your adjusted experience

Now we solve for x below:

    X(x-1)*25 = 104644
    25x^2 - 25x - 104644 = 0

Use the quadratic formula with a=25, b=-25, c=-104644
(I won't type all the steps here)
    And we get x = 65

So your adjusted level is 65 if you subtract your donations.

and using the initial equation of town hall squared that's not bad...I think your results are more precise
    ill grant you that
its worth looking at thanks for the feedback

you have to decide that ..It just puts a value on it and removes the guessing

This is really neat and I'm definitely thinking about adopting this as a means for screening recruits and maybe even monitoring village progression of my current members. My question is: How do we factor in their offensive capabilities?

The problem with rushing is that it often places the rushed member in a higher ranking than he ought to be. Thus forcing him to attack a village with defenses far better than his own and with an offense that is severely lacking. Yet it is possible that some rushed members do improve their offense and just neglect their defense. I would be willing to accept those members in that scenario.

I seen a rusher in one clan i was in, his defense was not all that great, but his troops could got him 2 stars on a th 10 maxed. So a rusher with strong troops is good, but a rusher with weak troops is not good..

Great question..in my opinion, It's already factored in. I think. Most rushers will go very offensive ..they just want better stuff is why they rushed.
Lets be honest we all want better troops. But to your point maybe they wanted the x-bow so bad...they skipped dragons along the way?

You get Xp points every defensive and offensive upgrade. So yeah someone could have level 1 archers and be town hall 10 and this number not reflect that. I feel like any omission (offense or defense) will show as rush?
So far this is the best idea and number I've seen. Its simple, its quick and it places a value on it...how that number is interpreted ..I dunno

"Step 1: Square the town hall level
Step 2: Subtract the number from step 1 from the players xp points
step 3: take the number from step 2 and divide by town hall level ( this creates a magnitude)"
so my main acc is th 8 lvl 83
    8*8=64
    83-64=19
    19/8=2.375

on my alt im th 7 lvl 50
    7*7=49
    50-49=1
    1/7=0.14

    but still,wat does tht indicate?
im an almost maxed th 7,with just a wizard tower and teslas to upgrade left
but i havent donated much.....does tht mean im a rusher?
