What happens if all defenses are cleared less then 50% but there's still a telsa?

I think I've seen it once but I might just have imagined it, was a while back, as I remember the hogs attacked a neutral building, got it to 51% and then chased the remaining teslas when they popped up.

Shouldnt be too hard to test, get hogs, target a Th7, where all the defenses shouldnt make 50%, let em loose and see if once they clear the hogs, they get the Hero's dumbfounded question mark above their head and play hide and go seek with the tesla, or they attack neutral buildings until they clear 50%

Teslas pop at 51%. So the question is in a situation where teslas hasn't popped and every other defenses is destroyed, what would defense targeting troops do ?

Assuming u haven't hit 51% then they attack nearest building until a defense pops up. Just like when u drop a troop near a defense, if a Tesla pops up the troop redirects.
