How can it be that 9 out of 10 bases encountered truly and honestly has absolutely no resources?
Active players know how to hide their cash, and/or minimize chances of getting raided.

The problem is that there are more players that want to attack than targets. Every average base gets attacked at first sight and gets a shield. Only the bases that nobody wants are kept in the queue and are shown to everybody. This gets worse until the first players (usually the collector barchers) get frustrated. Then it will balance at a level o bad bu acceptable loot.

You will only see bases that have no elixir, gold, dark elixir and with th inside. Otherwise it is taken very soon.

The reason why loot got so bad after the wall update is because player can now dump both ressources into walls. Even if only 10% do this still makes loot awful because these are the bases that you will meet while nexting.

Chances are they are either highly inactive and were recently attacked to leave them with no loot. Another could be that they just dump it all into walls and have low collector lvls.

Not everyone is a farmer. He could have been trophy hunting.

I happily went to bed last night with a centered town hall for the first time in what must be 3 months knowing I wouldn't get attacked because I too had joined the multitude of the extremely poor...

It left me to wonder, that what I consider to be extremely poor is still more than the average TH I see when searching for a base worthy of attacking.

    Basically Supercell broke the game.

There is now a glut of rubbish bases you have to next past to find the odd good base.
Their advertising has been very successful at bringing in new players but the demographic they aimed at was wrong. It is people 18+ that have the patience to progress their bases and 'exploding bunnies' do not attract this age group.

Those 50k bases belong to kids now bored with the game but not YET truly inactive such that they can be pulled out under the Ts and Cs.

Lix for walls was the final nail in the coffin.....the straw that broke the back of an already very sick camel!

I have quit playing and I was a daily gem user and played 4-6 hours a day.

I am maxxed TH9 .... Full lava wall! GG 1.3 billion ..... I was an addict. I am now in recovery!

You ou aren't recovering if you are still here complaining about it every day. That is the final stage to recovery...

The game is not broken. Only certain players who either don't have the patience to learn the intricacies of the game or those who think they're entitled to instant gratification because they did SC a favor by downloading the game. I'm sorry that the game isn't meeting some people's expectations, but there are many more people out there who think the game is fun and entertaining, including myself and everyone in my clan. All of my clan members are busy raiding and upgrading their villages. Very few use gems and then usually only in an emergency such as getting a troop or royal ready for an upcoming war. I myself have never bought any gems and have been able to get my village to 90% max TH9. Working on getting the last of my skull walls to lego. So, the game may be broke for a few, but the majority of us think it's just fine. Thanks SC for all your efforts!
