Should I upgrade all of my DE troops before upgrading my th?

I'm currently th8 and have not upgraded any de troops (though my barb king is level 9). I have upgraded everything that takes gold/elixir to max except for about 110 walls (and of course the th). I'm trying to decide if, once I finish upgrading my walls, I should upgrade my th. My thought is that it doesn't make sense for me to wait on de troop upgrades before going to th9 since I will get over 4x as much de from drills (200/hour from 2 level 6 drills rather than 45/hour from 1 level 3 drill). I don't get much of my DE from farming, so if I wait for the 300,000 remaining dark elixir at 45 per hour I'm looking at finishing up in about 277 days, 18 hours, and 40 minutes (assuming that I don't lose or gain any from attacks). If I get 200 per hour, that number drops to 62 days 12 hours.

Yes, they are well worth doing, but farm more de instead of waiting for it

I think in th9 u will have plenty of time in lab considering u don't have to upgrade wizards WB'S dragons pekkas goblins.

I didn't even unlocked valks and now 1 day to reach th9. My hogs r 3 and minions r 2 and pekka 3 and so on. Also max walls.

My opinion is put th on upgrade and max that walls in that time.

What I did was get minions to 5, hogs to three, and golem to 2. If you dont want hogs or golem thats fine, however minions 5 is a must for th 9

Yeah do it while you get your skulls (a TH9 in purple looks ridiculous and will be bullied)

@th9 you have to max all your troops.th8 its not really that important to upgrade your valks and minions past level 3 but anything(troops) else should be maxed

I'm definitely planning to get all of my walls up, I just feel like since my heroic heist is only at ~51,000 de I should probably just focus on (after I get the last of my walls up) increasing my collection rate to 4.44444 times what it is currently. Once I get enough to get my bk to level 10 (at about 7k/40k right now), I will likely get a level or 2 of my minions. I do minimal farming, so I still have probably around a month and a half before I finish up the last 55 million gold/elixir for my walls which should be plenty to at least get me to level 3 minions. Once I reach th 9 the 1st thing I'm going to work on is my de drills, so it won't be long before I can upgrade the rest of those considerable faster.

And I of course already have all of my elixir troops/spells upgraded. Literally the only thing I have to spend gold/elixir on before I start my upgrade is the walls, troops for farming/wars, and spells for farming/wars.
