At what TH level you did you use gem on your first barrack boost?

I am curious.... I did mine only recently, when I moved to TH9, and I did that to farm for enough DE to get AQ.

Not TIL recently. Way back when prices too boost were ridiculous and at one point boost times were 4 hours so I never bothered. Other than one gem events. Recently im boosting a decent amount.

At th9 after maintenance break to farm during golden hour. I don't boost unless there is plenty of loot which is not these days

At town hall level 6

Personally, I find that boosting is not necessary till higher townhall. Loot for TH7 is very good unless you want to farm for DE to get the BK or upgrade it. Otherwise, not necessary.

AT TH8, upgrade gets more expensive, which maybe necessary, and more so for TH9.

It is pretty fun to see your army is almost ready after one raid, no need to wait for another 20 mins.

Midway through Town Hall 7, when I wanted to get all level 7 Walls. Boosted all 4 barracks and just farmed like crazy for the 2 hours.

Started boosting with the 1 gem boost even last year. Since then I'm hooked...

Got a long way without boosting and without using barch.

Do both now.
