TH9 vs 10, a question of heroes and dark elixir...

I've posted this before in a similar thread. Just look at this way, if you do walls first, you'll gain nothing that will help you farm better heroes. But, if you do your heroes first, they will help you very much in you gold/elix grind for walls. So from personal experience, level 30+ heroes will do you more good than all lavas. Something to take into consideration.

It'a A LOT easier to farm for your heroes once you reach TH10. Reason is you have a far better defense with those 2 infernos, so you can climb up the leagues. I've been trying to farm in C2 being a TH9 but was 3-starred every time I was logging off. Now I'm quietly farming in C1 with my TH10 (TH outside), being mostly snipped when I log off, meaning I can easily keep my DE, and I do make a lot more thanks to loot bonuses, and when I find an inactive, it sometimes is a TH10 with 3 full lvl6 DE drills.

I'm having it difficult to spend my DE on time keeping 2 builders active full time on my heroes.

This is kind of the paradox. High heroes make it easier to get gold and elixir at TH 10, but gold and elixir are easy to get at TH 9 with or without heroes. Also getting high level heroes is easier at TH 10. And while high level heroes are great for farming in higher leagues you will need to upgrade them and either drop down in leagues or settle for less. At the end of the day it's up to you but I went in knowing DE would be so much easier at TH 10 so once my gold/elixir upgrades (I banged out lavas but legos and even skulls are fine imo) I moved on up. I'm crippled in the sense that all I have to farm with is a level 18 barb king (Queen is on constant upgrade and will be 39 soon) but you know what? It's not that bad, sure I'm not farming champs like a boss yet but I'm having no issues barching in masters and since I focused so much on gold and elixir in TH 9 I can just kind of coast now if I feel like it.

Like I said, your choice but getting DE is a joke at TH 10 compared to TH 9. Biggest caveat in my mind is what type of clan you are in/want to be in. If you want to be in a clan where wars are paramount you don't want to be that TH 10 with single digit heroes and butter walls, but if you just want to farm who cares?

Not really. I haven't really seen how loot is super bad at th10, my gold and elix have been just fine. Maybe you get EASIER loot as a th9, but more I really doubt it. I did all my lavas and half zaps as a th10 and that was mostly before the elix for walls came in.

That being said, every single farmer that I know that is max now, has said the same thing. If you're talking efficency you will max out your th faster if you do heroes first, be it th9 or th10. I had my AQ asleep from 10-20 and from 20-30 and now from 30-38 that just finished. And I've farmed DE without her just fine. And if you take into account hero build time, you will be long done with def and walls before you finish off your heroes.

I also disagree about it being hard to get DE as a th9. You can literally hit th8s for 1k+ every few minutes on boost. Sure you lose some on Def, but thats like one or two raids worth.

So I really cant see how its a paradox, walls will not in any way help you do heroes. And heroes will help you do walls very much.

Walls are not that important. Maximum your heros.

Loot at TH10 is tough at first, but once you get your barch attack troops to lvl 7 and your camps, you'll be able to make lots of resources very quickly through barching and league bonuses.
