What is the best thing to upgrade?
As you can see I am an active farmer, I can manage full storages a day if I play a few hours straight. I managed to get both X-bows going(Yes I know, bad idea.), but too late.
I am thinking of getting my X-Bows to Level 3 early, would that be an okay idea? Because you'll have to upgrade them eventually anyway.
Or should I focus on other things like Level 7 Mortars or Wizard Towers?

Your teslas weren't even maxed from TH8 so that should be your first priority, then getting all new defenses up to the TH8 lvl.
After that it's really whatever. Mortars and wiz towers will really help you with tier 1 troops. Having a builder on an xbow at all times is probably a good idea as well.
Keep in mind a lvl 3 xbow will take ages. lvl 2 is 5 mil 10 days, and lvl 3 is 7mil 14 days. You won't be finishing those anytime soon.
Teslas aren't that expensive but they do take a good while. Coming from lvl 5's, you've got 22 days each to max at TH9 and that's not even considering the new one.
Ah yes, camps. Yeah that should be your first priority. You've already done your CC which is good.

So you should be upgrading army camps > heroes > drill > defense
Upgrade the most expensive ones first...get em out of the way.

Your #1 priority should be your 3 unupgraded camps. Offense first.
Next, AQ and BK to 15.
Then, Wizard Towers > Air Defense (if you war) > Mortars (if you don't war) > Archer Towers > Canons > Xbows
You can put Xbows really anywhere on that list, but you will generally want to drop trophies and do both at once, because let me tell you from experience, being down just one Xbow and trying to stay in Crystal 2 kinda sucks.
Also, Xbows are kind of amped up Archer towers. Personally, I wanted to wait to upgrade them (and thereby incur more expensive elixer reloads) until I was a bit less elixer starved (like ~9 mil for camps, ~5-6 mil on DE barracks that I've neglected, 6 mil for loons, 6 mil for giants, 6 mil for archers, 4.5 mil for healers, 9 mil for PEKKA (didn't do in TH8)). Now I'm coming up on needing much less elixer, so I'm starting to also think about getting xbows up.
Did my CC early when I was a new th9, and it took so long to upgrade xbows, but worth it... Good idea to focus on splash because i usually get smashed by giants, barbs, archers and goblins... Sucks that i was a noob and spent me gems, shouldve had 4 by th6 if i spent them wisely. If I could buy gems I could but Google Play Giftcards arent for sale in NZ...Originally Posted by IDBGOD28

I usually just hang in the Mid-Gold 1 range, because that's the TH9 sweet spot atm, getting 150k+ per raid and the not common 250k. X-Bows won't do a thing at Level 1, but at Level 2, they start to be a nuisance and an intimidation to attackers and make them not want to attack you. And yeah, I agree with offense first, as most people raid more than defend. :P

You may have misread the first post. I said "active" not "MLG PRO 360NoScope COOL SWAG YOLO farmer". There's a difference between "active" and "good" you know. Also adding "no offence" to a post that clearly is trying to be offensive is very unusual. You need to maybe re-read the definition of the words "active" and "good". I can't be bothered wasting gold on walls, that's for later.
