Hi gamer just a simple question about lava hound. Im a mid th9 and in wars i usually have to attack th10s or maxed th9s. Is a level 1 hound good enough to use against lev7 or above air defences? Or should i wait till i have upgraded to use lavaloonion?

i don't remember if i tried lvl1 lava against lvl7 ADs...i'd recommend using lvl2..

No Lava Hounds yet, but can get one in my clan castle.

why do you wanna attack a th10? most likely you will get 0-1 stars on it with those troops..

Because this is their #1 and our #1 already said they won't do it and I have a feeling we will need at least a star on this guy in order to compete.... I am #2 so I guess I am next in line... it would be a last attack if we need the extra star or 2.

Thanks gamer88 for uploading fail attacks as well, it's good material to learn why an attack fail and how it could improved.

Ill uploaded a failed pentalavaloon one too and also one that succeeded on the same base so we can see what not to do.

Great thread! Thanks for the effort.

I'm nearing the end of TH9 (half lava/half lego) and my heros are getting beefy as they hit 20, so I expect myself to bring home 3 stars now against the top enemy TH9s in war.

Watching these videos has helped expand my attack strategies instead of just running standard armies.

Now I look at a base and feel better about customizing an army for a base even if the composition looks strange.
