What was/is your FAVORITE Townhall level? :)

Hi, my names D0ug and I'm addicted to Clash of Clans. And apparently, I ask respective questions that people get angry when asked again...Buuuuuut here we go again

I was looking through my camera roll on my old cell phone and I came across an old screen shot of my townhall five trophy base. At that time, I was super proud of it. It looked so cool to me. Looking back however made it appear to look so...nooby?
Anyways!
I was thinking about how much fun it was at townhall 5-6 where I first got into balloon and giant raids. Then townhall 7 with drags. Makes me miss those days.

So! What is your favorite townhall level, and Why? I would love to hear all of your input guys!

7 was great for the massive loot, but fleeting. Th8 for me.

TH8 for me ---- was also the only TH i maxed defenses on, as I found it to be the loot sweetspot, and also you have many troops that are the same level as TH9 above you (pekka, dragon, whizz etc...)

Ten is great for the defensive power.

I loved TH8!

7 was the best. Drags and BK. 8 was close but got destroyed by TH9 farmers too often due to higher storages. 9 and 10 sucked for progression.

This reaffirms my belief the game was designed to TH8 and then that team worked on other projects or did not have enough time because Supercell has not done a great job with 9 and 10 and every update since last year (other than Clan Wars) things get worse and worse. I don't want to say they don't know what they are doing, because I think they do, they keep making it more and more difficult to progress to increase gem purchases. They have done the same with Boom Beach.

TH7, feels great when you do things people assume you can't because you're "weak." I sure proved them wrong

TH9 is by far my favorite so far. You get enough troops and strong enough toys to take down some very strong bases. You are also able to build up a strong enough base to protect your loot and not have 3 stars taken on your base during wars.

The Archer Queen to me makes TH9 so much more fun for raiding. What used to drive me crazy with stealing my loot is now my favorite part of the game. You can also upgrade dark drills to the point where they make a real difference and are able to upgrade heroes and walls to respectable levels. I also don't see much of an impact of looting penalties when I raid and I am still able to have sufficient funds.
