My favorite TH used to be TH 8, but after finding some pretty good loot at Th 9, and the fact that you get the AQ at TH 9, I'd have to say TH 9 has been my favorite.

I loved the TH1 answer and I agree, for nostalgia reasons!
I'm currently TH8 and it's my favorite TH level so far but I'm really looking forward to all that TH9 has to offer.
It'll still be awhile (probably around the end of the year before I upgrade to TH9 but I'm excited and can't wait!

My favorite was TH7 because of the loot. Ah, the days of 300-400k each, gold/elixer raids...
At that time, I was the only one with all purple (lv7) walls in my clan. Embarrassed (impressed?) some of the higher TH people to start upgrading their walls. Got to crystal league, too. Ah, the good old days...kinda reminds me of being in high school again...
Th9 is my favorite... I love the Xbows, lv6 troops to smash th10s, 4 spells, 220 space, and still get 90% loot from wimpy th8s lol.

7 with maxed barracks and camps. Dragons rock. I felt invinciblePlus for the first time I had enough walls to build a base like I wanted to, not just like I could, given one rather arbitrary constraint.
Looking forward to 9, when I will get that AQ and witches ... plus some more camp space and a fourth spell - finally!
8 seems a bit like a transitional period. I've reached a level in clan wars, when mass dragons just don't cut it anymore. Though I admit I have not tried combining them with balloons against other TH 8, yet. Clever idea, this. Search for "dragoon 105", if you are interested. Currently I'm cutting my teeth on GoWiPe.

7 and 8. Loot is great, with a satisfactory army, great for looting the collectors/mines.
Town Hall 9 seems very funny and very hard(that's why it's fun).
Also,Town Halls lowers than 4 are very nice,because you can fill your storages with just one or two attacks and upgrades don't need so much time.
