    DokuganR - this is my second ever thread. Look at the amount of effort I put into developing the layout, creating the trap placement, writing an extremely detailed post, and responding to replies and PMs and updating my OP. Do they seem like the actions of someone genuinely trying to create a good layout and share it with others, or someone who is after bumps? Also from a logical point of view, if it is a good design and people like it why shouldn't it naturally sit at the top? The specific reason is I do not want the users of bowser8 - myself included to be disadvantaged by revenge and war enemies to know where the traps are - unless of course they are b8 users themselves.

    Alright, thanks for clearing it up. And also, good designs do not necessarily mean that they will receive a lot of feedback. My second ever base design thread (60,000 views) flopped and recieved barely any feedback until much later. You have a fair point though, and good luck with your thread

    Hey BigC. First time poster here (be gentle lol.) I've looked at your base a few times now and passed over it, thinking this isn't going to work. But reading all the posts and seeing the defense logs, I'm going to give it a try. Could i get the trap placements please? Thanks

    Another tweak I can share, placing skeleton traps between mortar and storage on NW and NE compartments provides a good distraction - this was recommended by a bowser8 user by inbox.

    Following on from this, I have to admit I wasn't 100% sure about it and I liked the skeleton traps in the original location. But then replays like below popped up - having that measly skeleton trap was enough to distract the lv14 BK and lv12AQ - which should have wreaked havoc, but alongside a lv6 barcher army heavy on the archers they didn't even reach 30% damage or any of the core. Pretty sick.




    The rest of the trap layout was the standard one, I've included an image of the skeleton trap placement - and also note this was a bit of switched up layout with wiz tower lures (upgrading) instead of canons - with canon, BK and Tesla placed in the core which all played a part in the defense. Have a go and let me know your feedback. Thanks again to the anonymous inbox poster who recommended this tweak. Feel free to share your own tweaks by post or inbox - as noted in the heading - this layout is free to adaptation.
