Like said earlier, clearly people have tried and failed to barcher. To me, success means more than words on paper. I'll bump this when I have more defenses, and will have hard data to show it is not as weak as it looks.

I'd like to understand your definition of success. As a TH9 barcher who would gladly hit your base, my definition of success is picking off your TH and looting 4/6 of your Gold/Elixer storages.

That said...if you do not ever intend to log off with more than 100k of loot available for each resource, it would make sense (although I'd still barch that in C1 to get the loot bonus, but you aren't in C1).

Yes, I recently dropped to gold 3.
I can reliably pick off a th7s gold and elixir using barcher, completely independent of where the storages are. A th9 to th8 is a lot like th8 to th7(in my eyes).
If a th9 with level 6 troops and a level 7 AQ only manages to get 2/3 of my storages, I'm happy.

P.S. In your replays you weren't offering that much loot. Post defenses when you are offering >140k gold/elixir or >1.3k DE

Great base OP, hope to see it when I'm farming. Easy barch pickings. It's cool though, keep defending your design when other people explain how susceptible it is. If you defend it hard enough nobody is going to successfully barch you!

I'm sorry to say OP that though your concept is interesting, I doubt that it will work. Firstly, I doubt you are offering much in your storages and you are avoiding a lot of heavy attacks. I don't know what the attackers are doing but I could easily BARCH 5 of your storages. I don't think you are getting hit by actual legit BARCH attacks, among other reasons as the attacker may only be aiming for your gold.

Hate to tell you guys, but maybe the base is a little better than it looks.

The base is decent but why damage a giant and then use a spring trap. Tanks/giants need to be tossed early. Wiz towers should be behind stirages next to mortars. I remember when I was a th8 and when I went from being worth 300k to 800k the level of attackers was completely different. I rarely lost 300k but at 800k and 2k de i was getting smashed and there is nothing a th8 can do to stop a GOOD th9 farmer. And I had a max th8 with bk10 and my clan would give me wiz in cc.

Another barcher, he sadly had level 7 cc archers(I think it was that not 6), and got an extra storage.
