Dear Supercell,
We all know that everyone would like a confirmation button to attack (we've all seen the threads). Anyway, here's what is wanted:
when attacking a village, if you press somewhere on the screen (either to start attacking or if you miss when trying to press the "next" button) you will get a pop up that says, "are you sure you want to attack this village?" From there you can either confirm or press okay. This will hugely reduce the number of misfires.
