623k, means 312k each attack. So close or over 3M in storages based on your TH level. Let's assume TH9 because it's there first level where you need that much.
What I do is accumulate only one of my resources. If I need gold, I dump my elixir in my walls. If I need elixir, I dump my gold as fast as I can. I just upgraded my queen at a weird time not to have too many DE on me.
If you have your TH outside, and you have weird loot (10k/300k/400), people looking for gold and Dark might just take your TH. When I was worth 350k/10k/1000, people would just ignore my base and only take my TH because they would lose a lot in elixir.
Saturday my TH9 lost 700k during the day. But sunday and monday I lost lost my TH. So that's 2 free day at over 400k profit each day from collectors.
Having your TH outside is a game of chance. Who will be the first one to find your base? A trophy pusher, somebody farming for league bonus, or a heavy farmer ready to clean you out?
I'm in the end of my TH9 with huge upgrades to finish. Level 6 extractors. I'll lose plenty. But each day, I'll get closer because I know my collectors give me 400k so I only need to farm a bit more than I lose.

If you have a poor base design, i'd suggest you start youtubing/googling base designs.
Get 5 builder if you haven't, and spend all of those loot before you go offline.
When you need more loot to upgrade stuffs, your base would defense better since most of the defenses are upgraded.

Definitely move the TH outside your walls and far away from the base and don't accumulate multiple resources at once. Use one resource on upgrades and dump the other you don't need into walls. DE loss you just gotta deal with, my friend.
