Thread: To those who want to search individual players in-game (potential fix)

    My friend, who played another game that allows players to attack another specific player, got attacked by the same player for 76 times in 4 hours. Yup 76 times

    My friend tried to revenge, so he built troops and rebuilt buildings, but almost all his troops and buildings were always destroyed when he went online in a few minutes as his base and colonies got attacked repeatedly by the same player. He lost resources when he got raided and also when his trained troops were destroyed. There was no way for him to revenge except for gemming resources and troops and revenge immediately.

    My friend tried to chat with the player who attacked him to give him some breathing space. Then my friend got attacked non stop by that player and a lot of his clan mates or alliance members.

    Imagine a th10 with maxed troops attacking a specific th9 everyday, raiding 240k gold from the th9 whenever the th9 breaks shield and goes offline.

    1.) I think this would be a great Feature to find Players of your clan again. Simply write down the codes of the Players you know.

    2.) If someone abuses this function to stalk another Player, he can do that any time from the clan log. Just join a clan and tell them to not let the other Player in. Also you can not attack another Player by Name. You can only watch his ingame Progress and I dont know why this would hurt anybody.

    3.) The Server does not have to search all Players. The Server load will be the same as if you view the Profile of a Player in your clan or the attack log.

    All of this is irrelevant. Player search has been ruled out.

    Incorrect. There are approx 4.3 billion IPv4 addresses, all numbered using only 12 characters.

    How do you think clan association, attack history etc is stored? By name? But we aren't required to have individual names..

    There is already a player ID.

    License plates are an even better example.
