I don't like golems why people think they are better?

I think that GGs 5 or 6 are better before golems reach lvl3, I tried use my golems lvl1 but i don't get 3 stars like I can do with ggs lvl5, they die pretty fast at lvl1 IMO maybe I think they can be better after lvl3, but for me at lvl1 they aren't that good like people think. I think ggs they cover a lot better DPS units than just 2 golems.

Im the only one that can do 3 stars with GGs and can't with golems?

HI, based on your troop levels, am I correct in thinking you are a th 8? If so, then level 1 golems are still very strong. Their primary purpose though is as damage takers and not damage dealers. They do a great job of protecting other troops like wizards or pekka from taking damage. They are immune to spring traps, unlike giants. Ultimately it is up to personal preference though. Giants are still effective in war as a th 8. By the time u get to th 10 though I guarantee you will be using golems in war instead of giants. Hope this helps

You have not use golem correctly . Golem need wizards all the time . Golem does very low DPS . they are meant for meat shield only . It always fun to see people rage golem ,only increase DPS from 54 to 91. Wizs lv6 has 180 DPS , much much higher . Wizards will kill defense that attack golem ,so golem can live longer . Golem will shield wizards so they do not die.They can not be separated. They need each other.

Many times giants travel in herds. this means splash damage gets them all. even 6 max giants at 940 hp wont hold near as long as a lvl 1 golem at 4500 hp. giants are not war troops beyond TH6. like an above poster stated, if you learn to properly use golems they are very effective at Th8.

Giants travels in groups, they're susceptible to splash damage
so they're kinda softer

Golems activate Spring trap, but don't get flung away

Well, since I don't have golems yet...so I can't say..which one better.
Anyway, my friends (th8) always use them in CW...and yeah, usually his only got 2 stars, but thats when his attack Mid TH9 or Premmie tH10. Attacking th8? well, he always got 3stars when attacking anti hog base (his golems only lvl 1 btw).

Anyway, What is GG? Golden Giant's?

I found it depends how I attack. I don't take any Pekkas with a giant attack, but more wizards (16+CC at a bare minimum), and 14+ giants and that currently packs more of a punch then a GoWpie.

Most of the time what I take does depend on the base.
