Yeah it's a game things don't always make perfect sense. Like troops spawning in the middle of a base surrounded by walls because two buildings aren't touching.
But I would say, the dumbest most nonsensical thing is ….
Town hall outside of base, it's the only building under attack and all the villagers run right into it as it's burning down
No the most garbage thing in coc is that the wizard on the wizard tower is nearsighted

This is second runner up, I agree with this. Bashing the barbarian king's head in with a hammer for 5 days straight shouldn't make him stronger when he gets out. concussions are cumulative.

On defense Heroes can jump over walls, offense they bang hopelessly at them while all the defenses bombards him/her. Once a ground troop has finished training, and the Barrack is encircled by a layer of walls, it will walk straight through it. On offense they also refuse to use their special ghostly powers.

Builders are doing it wrong. They could make an upgrade go faster if they didn't work from outside of the roped off area.
The most nonsense thing is the next button.
