My clanmate got attacked recently by a th9. The guy used a typical giant arch army with heroes. He only managed to touch 2 out of 6 storages cuz the base design was great

Which one? I'd like to see a th8 base that can hold off a th9. I suspect though it was probably a bad raid.

The league loot in Crystal 3 and all leagues higher should be raised a bit, but not for any of the lower leagues. We still have a huge amount of TH9s prowling down in gold 3 and us TH8s cant get enough loot for upgrades, because they always come and steal it. We can still get loot down here, it is just that they come in and 3 star us, taking around 300k g/e. If we up the bonuses in crystal, it will distract some of them and draw them back up their.

It is like if there is a huge group of moths swarming around a kid. Turn a light on 20 feet away, and most of the moths slowly start to flutter over there.

You are assuming that th9/10 players will head to higher leagues if the bonus is better for them however i don't think this will happen unless the bonus is ridiculously high! Whilst I know what I am about to say does not apply to all of the th9/10 in the lower leagues I know from experience that a number of these players farming this low are doing it because their attacking skills simply are not upto the task of taking on well levelled th9/10s higher up in the leagues!

I am certainly not suggesting this is everyone though I know some exceptional attackers who farm in gold and crystal leagues but who are also quite happy pushing high in champs as well

The league bonus would have be very significant to encourage TH9s and Th10s not drop down to Gold 1-3 for loot, as it stands the amount of nexting you have to do find a base that has over a 100k in both gold and elixir is tough enough, generally they are shielded by TH7-8 TH snipers. So most of the time you get a bunch of TH9s and 10s with the TH in and an average of 40-50K gold and elixir. You combine that with the 35k - 65k league bonus you get a bit over 100k on average, now compare this with barching dead bases in Gold 1-3 which yields on average 250k of each resource...... you kind of get the point.

You also get those juicy TH8 storage raids... oh wait you were complaining about that....

As TH9 myself - I disagree --- I'm more than happy to go hunting for DE in chrystal league, as there is loads of it avaailable, and would stay there, if there was enough gold and regular elixir - there is just not enough up there most of the time to make it viable - It's easy enough to break even, with the win bonus, but when you need 6 mill elixir for your archer upgrade, Gold league is where the loot is .......... I drop to gold league beacause there is "loot" there ... not because it's easy loot ......

I was in crystal I - II in the past few weeks, but decides to go back to gold. Simply because this last week, it all dries and the loot bonus isn't enough to keep up filling my storage...

If you want to increase the loot bonus so that people go up, the loot bonus need to be super high to the point that it can balance the 'no loot' situation up here

and by that time, I think there will be a lot of TH 8 and 7 who tries to go up here and try to snipe the bonus

So you're losing 300k per raid? It seems to me that your G&E storage is full; if that is the case, I don't think you have a loot problem. I lose about the same in every raid (my stores are full also), it's part of the game.
