Anyone tired of seeing all dragon army in clan war?

It all depends where your at in the game. Mass drag attacks in Clan Wars can destroy almost any TH7/TH8 but once you get to TH9/TH10 it's all about GoWiWi and GoWiPe for the most part. I remember when I first upgraded to TH9 I thought wasting 450 DE on a Golem was pretty stupid. Now I see that if used properly they can wreak havoc on the toughest of bases.

Trying to use mass Drags on a TH9/TH10 in Clanwars is probably not the best idea but I see some ppl get 1 or 2 stars with them. never seen a TH9/TH10 3 starred in Clanwars but im sure it has happened somewhere. You'll upgrade, move on and find a better offense or defense. It's what the game does, evolves us as players.

Yep, just wait until he gets to town hall 9 and 10, nothing but golems. Level 6 air defenses with a well designed base on a town hall 8 stop nearly all dragon attacks at 1 star. I have seen 12 level 4 dragons only get 2 stars on well designed town hall 8's.

im a nearly maxed th7 only thing i have left to upgrade are my dragons to lvl2 my clan consists of a bunch of friends of mine from the real world and they are lets just say not that great at this game case in point the number one ranked player in my clan is a th9 who rushed his townhall and is protecting it with lvl 6 walls and level 4 splash damage bldgs. I am number 2 with my maxed th 7 and the only way we get stars is for me to use an all dragon army the rest of them dont even have a barracks to train dragons the th9 has one barracks that can train a dragon and thats all so my thought is get as many stars as i can to carry these peple

I'd rather get attacked by all drags lvl 3 than GoWiPe or GoWiWi.

We war non stop. But it is definitely losing its fun. All clans do anymore is all dragon army. This might be the laziest approach I have ever seen. Most importantly when a th8 goes all dragon army on my th7 with lvl2 Dragons, they are losing money. But do people really have so little talent and imagination that they are OK with just using dragon armies? If so, it is time to nerf it.

Th7s only have two ADs, it makes them super vulnerable to dragon swarms. At th8 you can defend well against dragons and at th9 and 10 theyre rarely even used, much less successful.

Have your th7s get comfortable using dragons. Sure you dont make an elixir profit in war but farming elixir for a th7 is hardly difficult. You shouldnt be losing all your clan wars unless you refuse to build expensive armies.

Personally we see drag attacks have died off a lot. People have gotten smart and have upgraded their bases and AD. Most of our TH 8s rarely get 3 starred on a drag attack now. Th 7, sure. But we see far more ground based Attacks now..gowipe and hogs now at TH 9 and 8. And mixes like GiWiPe.

I also think this is because many folks are short on elixer from farming since the update that allows walls for Elixer. It does cost a lot for a drag army, much cheaper to go ground and get the same thing.

Yeah, that is pretty much all th7 and th8 use in war. I did also, recently though I limited it down to about 2 or 3 and used giants and minions, plus some spells...and I can still 3 star. So I will be cutting down dragon usage also, quite frankly its boring using a dragon spam attack all the time.
