boosted my barracks for first time, and shocked..

Boosting is fun because this game has great mechanics in general!



But I think the problem is many US/Europe players have no opportunity for loot. I would probably pay a lot more into this game if there were lootable targets, but clicking "next" for hours on end is no fun for me



I boosted last weekend, and within the 2 hours only found 2 targets worth hitting. Essentially I wasted 60 gems for nothing, boosting all my barracks, king, and spell factory.


If I ever vacation to Asia, I will boost while I'm there enjoying my vacation. Sit poolside and raid

You are doing it wrong...you search until you next army is done and then attack the next base you can beat regardless of it's loot. You are pretty much automatically get your 30kish purple back if you win. Then go get your fresh army and keep searching. The cash crop for boosting really is hitting those 80-100k bases every 4 minutes anyways.

The first 2 minutes of searching you can be picky but after 2 mins of nexting you need to hit the next base that has 80-100k - in 2 mins you should be able to find this easy.

Try barch and you will attack as often as that every raid

I regularly barracks boost for barch and over the two hours can score significant amounts of loot by raiding little and often rather than waiting for the big hit.

Same thats what i do. Settle for less to raid more frequently

Congratulations on maxing your loons! I farm with loons and minions and only boost 2 barracks and spell factory on some Sundays. I found when I boosted all 4 I wasted a lot of the barracks boost because the spell factory takes longer. With that set up I raid every 22 min or so.

I was just about to say something very similar and then there in the last post this guy beats me to it.

I partly disagree with the person who earlier said there is no bad time to boost. I think this depends on your army composition and loot target. I understand your logic for barching but I use expensive slow training armies for bigger loots and this means a) i can't search with half an army or even short of more than one, maaaybe two spells, because I almost always need the whole army and regularly use 3 spells or more and b) loot bonus doesn't generate enough income to cover the cost of my army. If you factor in spells I need at least 1/3 of my target loot figure to break even

but back to the last post; If loot is in a lull time of day and you know you are likely to need more nexting time, then try just boosting some of your barracks, not all. Experiment with the number of barracks boosted and how quickly this creates a turnaround for the next raid.

I don't know if you're doing or aware of this, but to maximize your boost, you have to queue your next troops before you attack so that the time you spent on "nexting" or "attacking", you already have or at least have some troops ready for the next attack.

The problem with this is when there are bases that can just be "sniped" where you spent a few troops that could most likely messed up your army composition.

But other than that, make sure you don't "end search" after long minutes of nexting because you could've wasted the boost time for your next army.

When I boost my barracks, once all ca ps are full i start building on every barracks so when my attack has been finished I have. New army already made
