I average 1 mil gold and 1 mil elixir per hour just doing barching and I don't even boost lol.

Boosting is fun because this game has great mechanics in general!



But I think the problem is many US/Europe players have no opportunity for loot. I would probably pay a lot more into this game if there were lootable targets, but clicking "next" for hours on end is no fun for me



I boosted last weekend, and within the 2 hours only found 2 targets worth hitting. Essentially I wasted 60 gems for nothing, boosting all my barracks, king, and spell factory.


If I ever vacation to Asia, I will boost while I'm there enjoying my vacation. Sit poolside and raid

Good for you. But try Barching or BAM. in 1 hour you can get max up to 1m. boost all 4 barracks and you can get 10m easily attacking every 3-5 minutes.

You've been playing for a year and never boosted? Not even during the specials when boosting was 1 gem? That was less than a year ago.

I'm glad you had fun. Your loot is well above what I get in 2 hours these days. I'm lucky to clear 1.5M of each. Considering upgrades are pushing 8M, I've given up. It just isn't fun for me, grinding away hour after hour so I can end up with the exact same base as everyone else ...

That's awesome. I always say use their gems to boost barracks/spell factory/heroes. It's so much more efficient that using those gems to buy resources or time, plus it's good practice.

You should make 4x as much as normal. If loots crappy it's not worth boosting though as you spend too much time nexting.

In gold 2, nexting isn't too bad for me. Yesterday, I averaged about 10 next per raid.

This isn't a showboat thread or anything. I just want to get the word out about the fun in boosting. And thanks you guys, for the pleasant comments and suggestions.

I've only boosted by barracks twice, both as a TH 7. The first time I did it, I made around 400k-500k in 2 hours. Yes, it SUCKED badly! A person can make more than that without boosting in an hour but I don't know what was wrong with me that day.

The second time I used it was a week ago with the same army composition, Barchers level 4 & I made 2.5M+ in just one hour. There were collector raids as well as storage raids that I went for. None were TH 6s. I only raided TH 7s & 8s & surprisingly, it went awesome. Yes I used spells & king if they were available since the king & spell factory wasn't boosted.

Now, for about a week, I have my gold & elixir around 1M with all my builders on upgrading. I do get raided but the enemy only gets 50% of the loot or less than that.

Boosting is awesome!! It is hell of a game changer! (But that doesn't mean you go crazy & keep boosting every time you raid) Kidding! Fasten your seat belts & boost when ever you wanna fast forward your gaming life!

I've never really understand why people say stuff like this. Each base is completely independent from each other so it's not like you could tell from looking at other bases what the next base is going to look like (or how much loot it will have.) It's possible that at certain times there are more people searching for bases and so pickings are slim but I'm pretty sure CoC gets pretty consistent traffic at all times so this is also pretty unlikely. IMO anytime is a good time to boost barracks.

Boosted last night after i started upgrades in my Research lab and a level 6 mortar, had about 50k of each resource after training barch and 2 lightning and a heal spell, after an hour of boosting, i was back up to around 1.8 mil of each averaging 110k a raid after 20-30 nexts. Played around 11 PDT ended at around midnight.

EDIT: Going and raiding every 4-5 minutes is very fast paced and nice, didn't always take my king or a full set of spells, but i always had either 2 lightning for pesky mortars or a heal spell
Spent 60 gems but it was def worth it.
