Are you talking about the break for if you've been playing for six hours? I'm not sure, but if that is what you mean, of course there isn't a shield. It exists to stop people staying online to avoid getting attacked.(Sorry if this doesn't answer your question. I'm not very sure what you're asking.)
The only way to get a shield is if you are attack for 40% or if you buy one using gems. If you buy one before your personal break then you won't be attacked. But that is a waste of gems if you are planning on breaking the shield to attack again after the break
The purpose of the break, as said above, was to prevent people from staying online 24/7. Top 200 would often stay online all the time, never get attacked, and the leaderboard wouldn't change. The break forces people to go offline every now and then, so that they could be attacked.Originally Posted by D3monWatch3r

Well the personal break was implemented so that you CAN get attacked. No sense in it if you cant be
