I know this is another TH blah blah made it to blah blah thread but I have been so close on so many occasions to getting into Masters but have made foolish decisions that have cost me trophies or I logged off and got revenged for like 50!!!
Well after being in Gold 1 yesterday I decided to go on a massive trophy push, to see if I was able to get there finally...Those free gems just look too tempting! Well I got up to 2588 last night before having to switch off so decided to invest in a one day shield overnight, if only I had done that last time!!
This morning I woke up and realised that I was only 12 trophies away and sure enough within an hour I had reached Masters 3!
I won't pretend to say that I battled the whole way up, Yes I did snipe quite a few town halls, but when I thought I could 50% a base then I would and the barracks and spell factorys were on boost.
The fact that I need to upgrade my dark troops as they are all level 1 meant I really needed the dark elixer and boy is there some dark elixer up here.......I can imagine getting my BK up to lvl10 and getting most of my dark troops upgraded whilst I am up here and I really don't care who revenges me because the goal was to get here....I got here once I'll get here again!
Oh I forgot to mention I almost exclusively used BARCH!!!
Anyway to others thinking of doing the same, if you can take up one day of your time you can go from gold to masters.......Just pick the bases carefully, choose the bases that you KNOW you can win against, the loot should keep you going although don't count on doing too many building upgrades whilst you're up here because it can be very gold and elixer intensive!
Oh and one more bit of advice bring 3 lightning spells for ♥♥♥♥s and giggles, the dark elixer to zap is just amazing
