If I 3 Star a target which has already been 1 starred, does it add 2 stars to war hero achievment or 3?

Prettu sure your own personal record gets the 3 stars, 2 stars towards clans war total.

I think it only adds 2 to your war hero. Had a clan member with spoils of war loot with ZERO war hero stars. So only stars you contribute to your clan will add to your war hero total.

No, it will NOT add three stars to your achievement. It will only add two. Go back and look at the achievement again--It says NEW stars.

I am afraid it is you are absolutely wrong. Here is how things work with this achievement when you attack a target that has already been starred:

- If you do not get at least 1 new star for the attack, you get ZERO stars towards your achievement.

- If you get at least 1 new star, then all the stars you get will be added towards your achievement.

So, if you 1 star a target already 1 starred previously, you get nothing. If you 3 star it, you get all the 3 stars towards your achievement.

Actually it doesn't say new stars in the achievment but it says "stars for your clan" which does look like it doesn't count the stars already won for the clan.. :s

- If you do not get at least 1 new star for the attack, you get ZERO stars towards your achievement.

- If you get at least 1 new star, then all the stars you get will be added towards your achievement.

So, if you 1 star a target already 1 starred previously, you get nothing. If you 3 star it, you get all the 3 stars towards your achievement.

Don't believe it? Test for yourself: 3 star a base already had 2 stars. record your war hero before and after the attack.
