Do your part in fixing the loot! Tell everyone you know to get their collectors to at least level 10 and if they are going to quit to separate their loot from the rest
I would suggest you focus on getting the king to lvl 5 before worrying about dark troops.
I am th 7 with BK lvl 2. I am not caring about the dark troops yet. I want lvl 5 BK. 10k more DE before lvl 3
When I got to the 8 the first thing I did with my de was lose it all.... I would recommend trying to get your bk to lv 5 and many getting minions to lv 2 in between a long upgrade.

Personally getting barb king to 5 will help in the long run, he will always be with you and the iron fist can help remove a few buildings. Ive got him to 5 and now finished mins (lv4)

You should look more into getting a BK upgrade instead of lvl 2 minions. Do that some other time

Barb king for sure. Minions are only really used in balloonion and hogs don't get usable until level 4/5. But once the king gets his ability he gets way better.

If you are in a war clan, upgrading hogs is a good idea. Lvl 2 hogs are decent in war as long as they don't trip on a giant bomb.
Otherwise, or if you are satisfied with dragons in war, then upgrade BK to lvl 10.
Forget minions for now.
