I would like to apologize to Herpacleese for twisting his name, Which led to a temporary ban of my account. I really hope I didnt offend anyone in anyway it was just an immature joke which I guess was not very funny. Furthermore I would have appreciated and infraction rather than an instant ban and a better reason because the reason I got was pretty funny and made me laugh which lightenend the mood for me. I also have learned from my mistakes and will try to avoid another such ban.

I must admit, that is one of the words that comes to mind when I see his name. Herpetology is the one that is most prominant for me though, and the one with which I assume there is a connection.

Kind of an obvious joke. That's banable? There was a thread a couple of weeks ago that degenerated into a bunch of domestic violence jokes and I dont think any of those users got banned.

So getting your apology accepted by the offended only matters to you if the whole community can see it?

And with an apology like youve written, i wouldnt put it past herpacleese to ignore this thread altogether. That apology was pathetic and insincere.
