    Sorry if my post wasn't clear. I'm th9 with arch lvl6 and barb lvl 5. I meant 100k of each. I'm not having a loot problem anyway. Getting between 4 - 8 million of each when playing about 8 hours a day. Some days less a little and some more. There are days when the loot is good and others where the loot is bad but for me it is acceptable.

    I'm a TH 9 and I've maxed collectors. I think you make a good point with this topic.

    I raid all bases with Barch, even when they have 0 money. I am enjoying the loot bonus of 65k in Crystal 1, so that helps out a lot of problems.

    I think the real problem was that there were a lot of inactive bases before an update, but afterwards - people rarely found those bases anymore.

    i personally dont have a problem with loot, I mainly farm in Masters and as a th10, upgrades take so long that even with my couple of hours a night I can keep my builders busy. I also find that chatting to clan mates and adjusting my farming trophy range helps as well as loot seems to move around.

    I'm at the same basic level as the OP. I farm with a variety of armies and I go for elixer first and take whatever gold and DE comes incidentally. A 30% elixir profit is fine with me. It means that the longer I raid, the more expensive armies I can use and the more gold and DE I'll naturally accumulate.

    TH9 --- When chasing DE i raid up in chrystal, so 2k plus DE, and around 80k elixir is my benchmark (covers cost of troops, and bonus helps towards spells if they've been required..... Used to be lots more lix up there, but low now it's quite scarce...

    When I want Elixir or gold, I drop down to gold league, and use BAM .... I'm happy to attack for anything over 80k elixir, if no spells required ..... and they also have some gold/de to make it worthwhile --- eg 80k gold, or 500+ de


    Loot is occasionaly good, but often just 'ok'

    edit-- max goldlelixir collectors ..... still working on maxing my de drills

    Th8 120k+ usually barch with a few wizards snuck in the mix. Or I'll do a random mix of wiz drags and giants and stuff. All my raids have random troops actually....weird.

    There's no point of reference for these complaints though. When you complain please post your TH level, league and clan name so we can see

    Adult Academy 3

    Farmer. 5 bulders building as fast as they can, lab going full out, upgrading heros as DE builds up until I start doing DE units in lab.

    I usually barch - occasionally loonian. L6 barch and loons, l4 minions. Aq7/Bk10

    Acceptable loot is loot that moves me forward. I try to grind out 1M gold/lix in a 2 hour window of play, which for my barch army is about 8 attacks. So ideally I profit 125k each. NEXTing costs anywhere from 0 (oh sweet!) to 100K gold (yes, that's a lot of nexting) and the army costs 66K elixir. So my target starts at 120k+ gold/180K elixir in a base I can actually get it out of (ie, not active th10, not th9 with empty collectors or collectors behind defense) and as I skip merrily along the gold target goes up to cover the "lost" gold to skips.

    There are days where I easily make or exceed the goal. There are days where I don't. Trophy range of 1400-1800 seems pretty consistent - there are dead spots as you go up/down, and they vary day to day. Can usually find decent "easy" base with 200+/200+ if I skip 100 times (75K cost) which is still ok in the target range, get enough happy fat ones mixed in to make it work.

    requires 2-4 hours/day to keep 5 builders happy.

    Honestly more "fun" at th7. Th8 was a good mix of fun/grind (skull walls before we could use elixir - wow. That was a grind). Th9 at the beginning is a lot of grind, but it's not horrible. Th10 looks like no fun at all.
