Hmm... If you mean completely maxed, then depending on how much you play, how good you are at attacking etc. I would say at least 6months.

There is roughly 400 builder upgrade days at TH8, so keeping 4 builders busy it would take 100 days, 80 with 5. The lab however, takes 140 days, so if you want to max all lab upgrades that is what will slow you down.

Just completed that journey a week ago, Sunday November 2nd. Lab, walls, king, the whole 9 yards. Arrived at town hall 8 on the 4th of June. so that's 156 days, boosting barracks with barch once a day. Sure it could have been done sooner, that's all the time I had to give it though
