I usually keep one slot of my stand full with a stack of bacon and eggs for Greg to buy--since he'll buy it at full price. But I never advertise that in the paper and all my other slots are items that people want and at good prices.
I've also noticed the muffin issue. I haven't had anyone ask for muffins but maybe twice since they were introduced. Why add a new element to the game if it's not going to be used?

I buy muffins every once and a while. My boats ask for them a lot and I don't keep many fruit bushes around at the moment. I think they are in the paper so much because players who don't have the boat don't have a use for them. I don't recall seeing any orders on the board for muffins...
