I hope I'm not repeating what everyone already knows, but after speed reading 13 pages of posts on this topic, I wantted to add this:

Why people list Eggs, Bacon and Eggs for max value-

You get one free advertisement every 30 minutes. The advertisement lasts 3 hours before expiring.

To my observation (correct me if I'm wrong) if someone buys the item that you are advertising, you no longer have an advertisement, unless you have multiple items listed with advertisements.

Unless you have a lot of friends and/or followers, that means your stuff sits there because no one can see your items.

So, people put up normally undesirable items at ridiculous prices so NO ONE buys them. This way you keep an advertisement up so people can visit your stall.

I myself do this for that reason. I've noticed that some people purposely buy the advertised item, then follow my stall, so they can come back exclusively to buy all the other stuff once they've saved up money or made space available for it.

I also hate the way the newspaper is working. I am pondering a suggestion to improve it and will post it to that appropriate thread when I have an idea.

By the way, please consider adding me (Salura) as an in-app friend. I'm playing because my 14 and 11 year-old nephews asked me to. It has been a very cool bonding experience.

Love the no-bacon-and-eggs friendship circle! The paper is ridiculous with stuff I don't need and I'm getting tendonitis swiping like crazy just to find what I do need.

I'll be asking the last 4 or 5 pages of people for Game Center friendship, looking forward to "doing business" with you free of those annoying B&Es!

I totally agree with you because I do the same thing. There's a majority of players who have good items in their stalls with a bacon & egg advertisement and others that just have...all bacon & eggs.

I may sell bacon & eggs at the last few slots for Greg or Tom because they're special, but my shop is basically full of other products when stocking. Feel free to add me. =)
