You're making assumptions on other people's motivations. They don't want it easier out of laziness, they think the status quo is unreasonably difficult. They dont think two defensive towers should turn what is otherwise a 3 star giant raid into a 2 star gowiwi raid. It's fine to disagree and still acknowledge that their position has merit.
1.) I think the Infernos Towers are much too op. Why has a rushed th10 at lvl70 more defense strength then a maxed th9 at lvl110. Come on this are 10 Million Gold for the Infernos and 4 Million for the town hall. This is way too cheap. Even at th9 it becomes too easy to defend your ressources with 4 Storages, xbows and a very low cap for raiding storages (at about 3 Million).
2.) Th10s get much too less offense strength compared with the defense strength. They get 2 Infernos, 1 xbow, 1 archer Tower and cannon and can Level all defenses by at least 1 Level, but they only get 20 more troop capacity and 1 minor Level to some Units. Pekkas are the only unit that gets really stronger, but they get eaten up the single target Infernos anyway and are still very dumb.
All the famous th10 unit combinations get nearly no strength. Gowiwi gets about 5% more attack on wizards and 5% more health on Golems. Gowipe gets eaten up by Infernos and so on. Even the farming armies do not get stronger. Archers get +10% for +33% more cost and giants gets nothing. Also the loonion army (one typical army for th10s in master) does not get stronger balloons and minions only get one minor Level.
The only reason why th10s are strong is the stronger heroes, but you still can get lvl30 at th9.
I would vote for a Infernos nerf. Multi target should only target 3 troops or healing should be made possible (maybe reduce healing effect by 50%). The Problem is not the Multi target Infernos, but all the other wizard Towers around that damage your Units and you can heal them. Another idea would be to let Golem get all 5 beams. They get destroyed by single target Infernos, so they should be a Counter unit agains Multi target Infernos, but they are not because the wizards behind them get all the damage making them useless.
Barbarian/archers should get a bit stronger at lvl7 and there should be lvl7 giants. lvl7 giants would also bring a good attack strategy against single and Multi target Infernos. They dont get destroyed to fast by single target, but also can block damage of Multi target Infernos, if you manage to get them in front of your wizards.
Ehh Just would make more things for me to max hahah.

It's just TH9's wanting to make it easier to max the level without all the loot hardship of TH10.
If you want freeze, upgrade your TH, and quit basing those TH8s for your walls. Simple.
Man up and quit whining. Infernos are tough and strong, but giving TH 9 the freeze spell is just going to kill te game for TH 10s. Just think about it. As a th 9 you aren't supposed to be able to pick on a TH 10 that would be like a 5 year old kid beating up a 6 foot tall 15 year old, it's just not logical. TH 9s are supposed to beat on people that are their size or a little smaller (other th 9s or even some th 8s)
all you th 9s have not seen the drop off in loot when you go to th 10. It is huge.
So if you want freeze spells to hit th 10 then also ask for supercell to remove the loot penalties for th 10
dont just ask for freeze spell without giving anything back
