    Fix for Healers

    Dear supercell,
When do you plan to fix the healers? Their new AI really sucks. They constantly get stuck on a few archers who are not taking any damage while the real action is somewhere else on the battlefield. With the old AI they moved on to other units after fully healing their current targets. What I saw dozens of times with the new AI is that they miss the real action. My latest raid failed because of that reason again. After my first healer who was healing my 25 giants in the core of the base is killed I deploy the second one and she gets stuck on a group of 2-3 archers shooting at walls away from any defense. This continues till the end of combat while first my giants then BK and AQ are killed one by one. The healer was stuck till the end. This scenario has happened so many times with the new healer AI. When this happens all you can do is hope that the useless archers are killed by a bomb and the healer moves on to other targets.

Interesting nobody wrote anything. Does this mean that the problem I mention only happens to me? Is everybody happy with the current AI of the healers?

I never saw this post 5 days ago, but I have had that problem a few times myself. Wasn't with archers tho, i just had a large group of giants, they split into 2 group, the (slightly) larger group got healed about 5 tiles away from the rest so they died while the big group stayed full health because they weren't targeted by any defense yet. I think they should have moved 5 spaces and healed the others.

Healers are supposed to be used for town hall 6-7 with the Giant-Healer strategy.

A good healer buff would be to increase the heal range.

Healers become pretty useless at higher levels. When bases have 3-4 high level air defense and 2-4 air mines they tend to get shot down quickly, even at max level. i don't really use them anymore.

I actually did notice this yesterday. My stupid healer was healing my fully healed aq whilst my giants were taking an absolute hammering 5 blocks away
    Clashing since August 2012

I've posted and responded to many threads regarding this issue. I don't believe its high priority for super cell. healers are in my farming army so I use them often, and this is what I've noticed.

They will heal other units, but their 'vision' has been limited to their current target with priorities towards heros, then higher classed units (like wizards over giants).

So if a healer is focused on a wizard, they will not 'see' a bunch of giants that are too far away from that wizard even though the wizard is fully healed and the giants are being slaughtered. But if the giants move close to the wizard, the healer will then switch to the giants.

This has worked both brilliantly in some cases, and disastrous in others (especially when that wizard has decided to stay behind to destroy a wall that he didn't fancy while the rest of the army has moved on).
