Hey guys!
I did it! I know it's not too impressive and I'm definitely not the first to do it, but as a th8 I made masters. Which is still decently difficult.
How it all went down:
Tomorrow I'm gonna farm up 3mil gold and upgrade to th9. And to prepare for my th8 departure I had been preparing over the past few weeks for one final trophy push. I'm more of a farming type and don't push too often, but I figured I'd be up for the challenge. So I researched my up pekka to max, got my stuff ready and made a push using GoWiPe.
Well I ran out of elixir way quicker than expected, so after hitting 2350 I had to drop back down to farm a bit. I farmed up 3mil gold, pushed back up to 2.4k cups, but ran out again. So, having never used balloonion in my life (and having lvl 5 loons but only lvl 2 minions) I started to use balloonion. I stayed in CII in order to gain elixir, and when I had 1.5mil or so I started back up my push. And the pushing went well, the 1 stars were coming quickly and everything was on its merry way. But after hitting 2400+ cups I found loonion very difficult. I could one star with relative ease, but I was losing attacks with no small frequency simply due to aggressive and poor judgement determining which base to attack. So I switched BACK to GoWIPe, but this time only used 2 pekka and swapped in 4 valks instead to save some lix. The push is going well, I'm boosting my barracks and attacking every 15 minutes (I only used 1 spell per attack) and then when I'm at about 2580 I realize I only have 100k lix left. So I do my attack and gain 8 cups (Plus loot bonus of 65k) and train up some giants and minions. I use them to attack Kitchen Sink in the goblin campaign. It was a mission I had only 1 starred, but left all the loot in. I gain 75k lix from that, do another GoWiPe, make it to 2597, and have just enough (only 9k to spare) to train one final GoWiPe army. I wait patiently, and find a 15 cup offer on a well developed th10 that had its th near one of the edges. 1 star and 5 cups later, I hit masters
So again I know this isn't a huge deal, but for me it's a pretty big accomplishment and I'm happy
For some reason it won't let me upload a pic, but here's the link to one

Anyway, keep it real guys, and thanks for reading.
(If anybody actually read all of the above I'm very proud of you)
