I had 1200 gems, and now I have 1360. Thats how long it lasts me I don't spend them very often, but I boost my barracks when saving up for lvl 6 troops.

2000 gems will last around 1 month for me. 4 racks and lab a day + sometimes I use them to finish a building/troop before time.

I guess you can say 1200 a month is not a bad average from boosting

Forever, since the only times I have ever boosted anything was with 1 gem / during golden hour(s) after maintenance breaks.
