Best time to upgrade to TH 10?

I'm almost done my legos for th 9, all my defenses and troops are maxed besides golem(lvl3), valkrie and lava hound. My queen is lvl 15 and Barb King is lvl 11. Should I work on lavas while I get my heros to lvl 20 each or upgrade to th 10?

Generally speaking, your loot gaining capability at th10 will be 2-4 times less then whatever you are making now at the same time the costs of everything is much more. Your resources are at risk for longer periods of time and you wont get back to wall making anytime soon.

My recommendation is build all the walls you think you will need until you max th10. Full legoes, and at minimum a lava wall core. Ideally lava walls over inner two walls as the outer wall is beat by wallbreakers easily.

For me the answer is never, because my enjoyment in the game is clan wars and if I upgrade my TH that just means my clan will face higher level opponents etc.

I'm happy with my base as is. My war base has yet to be 3 starred, and has faced attack from gowipe, hogs, drags, balloonion, name it, including all of the above from TH10s.

Good enough. My troops are good enough, I'm not even othering with lvl6 archers much less lvl7, etc.

Good enough. No more next next next next nexting unless I happen to log on right as a shield expires maybe I'll do it a few times. NO MORE EVER sitting around for hours nexting. Done, done done done.

Don't ever upgrade in the current economic environment. I find raiding so much better with my TH9 than my TH10 camp. Not even close. Max EVERYTHING in TH9 before even thinking about TH10.

Im trying to get my heroes to twenty so I can use them to help get loot when i upgrade. I'm not going to get the chance to upgrade them for a while.

Other than that my walls will be what ever they will be. Atm its looking like a mix of legos and skulls.

Ive no love for upgrading walls other stuff available at TH10 will be more beneficial
