    why can't the Top Donator from your clan receive some sort of a extra bonus

    I would imagine most clans have the few members that donate in the masses and those that donate few.

    Could there be a way to promote those that constantly donate ---other than promoting ranks? Additional Loot of some sort? Maybe at the end of each Cycle?

    I Like this idea, but I would base it off the number of people in the clan.
    For example:

    1-9 members: 5K Elixer
    10-19 members: 10K Elixer
    20-29 members: 20K Elixer
    30-39 members: 35K Elixer
    40-50 members: 50K Elixer

    This reward would be seasonal and an additional incentive to donate. Is it necessary? No. Will clash live on without it? Yes. Is my example of a reward system I thought of in less than 10 seconds the best idea ever? Probably not. Should this be implemented in the game? I think so.

    Yup, this would actually prevent people who have donated a lot to hop off if they find any good clan than the one they are present in.

    I agree that the current system of donations give little hard reward. Support.

    This is great- It is not over kill, but just enough to keep the donating momentum

    Great idea Roy! not too much, but something to keep the donating momentum moving forward.

    I'd say maybe something a little more frequent. Say maybe more like once a week?
