This isn't a philosophical debate on whether they commercialized on the pagan celebration of the winter solstice. This is about the commercialization of an international holiday. Historical accuracies aside, December 25th is celebrated as Jesus' birthday
we can debate how much or what extent Christians and Catholics across the globe celebrate Christmas or the birth of Christ. Or if you are questioning why i separate the two. It doesn't change the facts.
