Why do so many people have lv 7 walls?

I just wonder. It didn't take much time at all to get those 250 slices upgraded to lv8, maybe 2-4 weeks and I'm a little bit more than a casual player (I dont boost barracks...).

It takes two level 6 wallbreakers to break level 7, 8 or 9 walls.

Level 7 walls are the first that cannot be broken by a single wall breaker regardless of WB level.

Since this information is in the wiki and the article recommends upgrading to at least level 7, there might be a connection

Not boosting doesn't make you casual. And if you think 125M is nothing, then I guarantee you aren't casual.

    Couple of reasons.

Firstly the one that others have mentioned, ie lvl7 walls are the lowest lvl of walls which can't be bust in one shot by max wbs.

Secondly, skull walls is where the benefit of having them compared to the cost of doing them starts to fall off. You'd get a much stronger base by investing the 100m+ in defs.

and OP, please don't even try to pretend that doing 250 skulls in 2-4 weeks unboosted is casual. That is a lot of time in game.

Realistically if you want a benefit in how many wb it takes then you need to be prepared to upgrade to lvl 10. Cost to upgrade from 7 to 10 is 3.5 mill per wall. If your not willing to do that then stopping at lvl 7 makes a lot of sense.

Why upgrade your war level for something that is almost absolutely useless in war? Not to mention the price.

Walls a pretty useful in a farming base but still - they should be the last priority in any base after upgrading other defenses.

I see plenty of TH10 with lvl 7 walls. Crushing attacks because they have max lvl defenses with lvl 7 walls. Get with the picture man - walls are pretty useless outside of causing bad AI to get troops stuck and protecting your base from barch/giant attacks.

Probably because they cost 200k a piece to upgrade and the fact that it takes 2 or more wb's to break through them.
