You can still use hogs and skeletons arent the end of your world, just use some other troops in the mix for once. Skeleton traps affect more than just hogs, so deal with it nothing will change. People act like every update is to nerf hogs more, no they are just to help balance the game by encouraging creative army compositions.

    Use something to tank with hogs... We sometime use hogs, golems, heroes, valks, and wiz to kill some ♥♥♥♥ before sending the hogs on.

    I did try hogs last clan war...it sucked really bad. It was going really well until the barb king got angry and skeletons woke up. They decimated them, there wasn't any giant bombs, they just all died from the skeleton traps and king. I really hope that hogs are made a little better now that they're pretty bad, because I really miss them because they're really cool troops.

    What troop can follow behind hogs to take care of the skeletons? There is no other troop that can move through a base like/with hogs. Giants and golems move slow enough that you can back them up with archers or wizards. Balloons move slow enough that you can back them up with minions.

    Look, the max you can have is 12 skeletons on yeh butt. Chances are not on just one troop. When you use the heal spells, it heals the troops anyway... This isn't much of a distraction. As a th8 with lvl 3 hogs (4 very soon!) I personally think its fine. It doesn't bother max hogs at all.

    Nope. Your clan is simply bad at hogging bases.

    Watch some videos online (like thehulkfiles) and you will see skeletons do practically nothing to hogs because you just heal them as normal. Last war alone I hogged 2 bases with a rather standard 36 hog 1 golem composition

    Minions? Who says hogs need to go first, they can also go second, third, last? Why not attack the core and have hogs attack the sides, or vise versa. Perhaps an attack on opposite ends? Endless possibilities, go find some you like and stop thinking theres only 1 way to use a troop, or that only 1 troop makes the composition.

    Hogs are still useable. Before the skeli traps players were three starring max bases with them so I think they will still be at least a two star army.
