Maybe critisism is not the right word, english is a hard language. I ment to say the constructive arguments that are directly or indirectly directed at him and others that keeps telling us to give up and stop crying about it with nothing more to support there case.

I know you have another opinion then me and have given a real argument for your case and i respect that, i dont respect people whos sole reason seems to be to make people angry.

As people have previously posted they have indeed listened to player feedback before so why should we not hope that they change there minds about this to? Its a small chance I know but I like to believe that they might change this to.

If you really think this is a pointless thread then please stop posting in it, its that easy isnt it?

I think you just like to make people angry and i dont really see the point in that. If you think people that complain about an issue are wasting there time then what on earth are you doing by complaining about the complainers?

We don't always win but if these people just shut up and accept whats given to them we all might as well live in a communist society. We fought for our right to free speech for a reason.

I'm a TH9 and I live with the loot penalties. It's fine and I agree it necessary otherwise I probably would go attacking TH 5/6/7/ all the time as long as they had the loot.

Higher bonuses would certainly entice me to forego farming and chase the trophies for sure. I am getting kind of bored farming but its still lucrative (yes, it can be done even at TH9 as my last big raid was 380/510) which is why I haven't stopped.

Another alternative would be to at least make the biweekly or perhaps weekly leagues more interesting. Let there be an incentive to try to make and stay in the top 3 spots in your assigned league. Hand over bonuses to those top players. It doesn't have to be gems but at least meaningful loot. By that I mean more than one can make as a farmer in a single raid. If this was the case I would certainly try to achieve that for the loot as well as the bragging rights. One step at a time right? You can't expect us to go the the Champions shield right away. AS of right now I was so excited when the leagues came out. But my disappointment was huge once I realized I achieved top spot only to be rolled towards the bottom spot of the next league. It was absolutely pointless wasting all my time gaining trophies and myself and my clan all dropped back down to farm very shortly.

That's great. But I did address those posts and I really don't think I have to answer to you.

I wouldn't lump hb in the stop crying category exactly. He has even posted that he supports the badge+level option which I actually do not support. Most of the negative comments are either directed against personal attacks, calls for him to stop posting, insults to SC and SC staff, pointless ranting, or the endless repeating of bullet points that have already been thoroughly discussed.

He seems to have reasonable responses to most unique, coherently made, and well thought out arguments.

He certainly has a way of getting under people's skin though, which I find hilarious.

HB is actually quite young. 20s-30s. Why does his taste in music give you the right to flame him? Let me help you out there: it doesn't. You sound quite ridiculous right now. I suggest you move on before HB sees this. No one flames him and lives... 0_o

Not sure what you're going for here by insulting his taste in music.

I guess if you can't attack a person's ideas, the next best thing is to just attack the person eh?

Argumentum ad hominem is a clear demonstration that, not only has one lost the battle, but that a seed has been planted in your brain that you can no longer win against this person. This seed will grow. And every cell division will be one more step towards total incapacitation.

sandiego...I stayed at the Navy Lodge on Coronado a while back. Nice place.

    Sincerely, your petulance.

Maybe you find it hilarious because you both agree on the same thing (not all but majority), not the greatest judgement of a character. That's your opinion of him, good to know.. not surprised. But I love having his type of personality here because it makes the forum more interesting.

But regardless of how you negatively portray everyone who disagree with your point, or defend a company... they can complain. And their complaints are towards the company, does it matter how many posts? Is there a limit on complaints? Maybe you will just shut up and do nothing because you agree with everything and feel it's pointless to argue but, don't LIMIT everyone else to your mentality. Are the complaints bothering you? Ignore it. lol, Are the complaints idiotic? Ignore it. You hate these posts? Ignore it. OMG SO EASY. Read the topic title, it's usually a good indicator of what the thread is going to be about unless you just love doing this, I think you and a few others do. I hope I'm wrong.

I agree, with hb you get what you give for the most part. From my observations and personal experience, any conversation with hb starts out relatively congenial, by which I mean you comment and hb responds taking your argument serious if it bears being taking serious (mostly). If you are being an idiot from the get-go, well, hb has his own trademarked way of pointing that out. But if you have made a relatively cogent argument that hb finds disagreement with (which is highly likely, since I have personally gotten a response from him on his penchant for creating chaos, or something to that effect) well, you can be greeted with any number of responses that will generally result in frustration. Why? Well, because some people have a talent for finding holes in the way things are said and then flipping them on their head. hb is such a person.

Once you are frustrated, you have stepped into hb's pocket. I've witnessed this on the forum multiple times and sometimes feel the urge to warn people, but honestly, I'm also one of those sadistic people who thinks his unique brand of humor and at times scathing rhetoric is hilarious, whether I agree with him or not. And I've been on the receiving end, so I obviously do not always agree. But the last time I entered a discussion with hb, I realized he enjoys this. Our conversation didn't devolve into a flame war because I didn't get all hot around the collar and stated my case with as few holes as possible.

If you are going to spew your ♥♥♥♥ on the forums, hb is here to make you eat it up.

OT: Since I haven't come out and said it, yes, I'd like to have my level back. But from previous experience, SC doesn't respond to demands or suggestions from the forum to change anything that they didn't already intend to change. If you've been here since Oct. of last year (and many people have been here longer), there tends to be a cyclic nature to how each update is released and the community's outcry to some aspect of those updates. And then SC either refusing to respond period, or responding in the manner they did this time around.

Never have I seen such widespread support and agreement for something such as the call for the reinstatement of players' levels (about 80% by my guesstimation). SC's response was, in this reader's opinion, to the point and fairly callous; they do not intend to in anyway back away from their vision for "their" game. I'll be sold if SC shows some balls and fully commits to this league system that has been set up, but sympathize with players who see their level as a badge of honor. As someone who has been playing games since the Atari and Commodore 64, the word 'level' has a very special meaning. And the league levels have left a void in players looking for that meaning because obtaining a nice and shiny league badge is counterproductive to obtaining a nice and shiny base. This was not the case with the old level system.

This is why, I will say again, CoC is in its current state not a great place for serious gamers, especially those who are goal orientated with cash flow problems This game will not let even its most obsessive players, people putting in 5-6 hours a day, get anywhere near the end game without spending serious amounts of money to do so. And even then, to compete in the top tier, you have to spend even more money. And all these points about rolling out new features before fixing bugs need to be understood in this context, because this is NOT a game being rolled out on a reputable gaming system for gamers, but on devices that serve multiple functions in the hands of everyone under the sun, one of which is killing time.

CoC is easily the best tablet/phone time killer I currently know of. But I've pretty much given up on the idea that a lot of the amazing suggestions being made daily on the forums (by a lot of serious gamers) will ever be included in the final version of this game. That doesn't mean you should stop trying, but just to try to put it all in perspective.

Things could always turn around, since the league idea has the potential to appease the gamers while keeping the money flowing. I'd be tempted to say that a little risk on SC's part to significantly increase the loot bonuses will ignite people's hunger to succeed, and with it open their wallets. Guess we'll have to wait and see

Oh, and to the one dude who blocked hb's posts and then posted a post of the blocking of said posts, could you possibly be anymore lame? You know who you are, and I know you are reading this, since you take almost every opportunity available to inflate your post count. Since your arrogance crossed me the wrong way within a day of me returning to the forums after a month and a half hiatus, it is no wonder hb found you an easy target.
