It was common knowledge on the forum back in mid September. Probably even earlier on the forum before this one (dunno if you were around for that).
Do an advanced search. Enter "farming" and tell it to search for posts one year old and newer and tell it to order the results by date in ascending order.

Sure it does. SC has the hard data to prove it, but they really don't need to show you. Empirically it is clear that more people have moved their THs inside, thus protecting their trophies and thus promoting trophies.
You have no evidence to support these claims. Naturally the majority aren't going to want to pay $50/week, but that doesn't mean they will necessarily quit. They will however, most likely, drop down, farm, and whine a bit more.
You are right. They "seem to be". They are however well aware, just not acting on this information in a manner that makes you happy.
Everybody knows this. It actually made the Webby award look that much more stupid and worthless. I will agree with you on one and only one point. CoC is a far far better game and will continue to dominate the industry at least for the next six months.
Nothing makes you elite
I agree, farming and the elixir glitch were widespread knowledge, but Pedro's thread put it in a way that attracted more people to the solely farming community. Pedro famously got all skull walls within a single week, and whether you agree or not, SC has been doing its best to plug the holes since then. Oct., Nov., and Dec. updates of last year all felt pretty reactionary and targeted specifically to either reduce the immense profits people were boasting about or outright discourage people from farming.
I personally would like to see farming pass in favor of the leagues, but would also like to see the loot bonuses go back to what we initially thought they'd be. It was cool to see a lot of top level farmers coming up with hybrid designs, but also disappointing to see them switch back to their farming bases due to the lack of incentive to chase trophies.
Wish I had started the game just 1 month earlier! Instead of being an almost completely maxed TH8, I'd be at least halfway through 9 and rocking out with my AC and Xbows![]()
