Got the education, hence the financial stability. I wasn't born into it. Forum credibility...think about that for a bit. I have an investment portfolio, but I let others buy the stock/trade for me. They've been doing well as I've seen good returns even during the so-called recession. Please, go on...it matters not to me and never will.

The S&P 500 has more than doubled during the "so-called recession" and is currently at an all time high. Everyone invested in it have seen tremendous returns. If you actually were, you'd know that and wouldn't try to brag about it.

C'mon Supercell. Listen to the higher level players. It is mainly these players that have bought all the extra builders, new troops and structures after updates and gems to speed up upgrades when storages are maxed. We know you can't please everyone but at least try to please the ones that care. Our levels are important to us. Its a way of earning respect, something to be proud of and a very important recruiting tool. Now when we hit Global We can't tell a high level to a low level player for the most part. Farming is a means to an end and you make everything expensive as it is. Give us a break cause not everyone can gem nonstop above 2500 trophies. We need to come down and breathe too. Let us farm and then we will gem the upgrade time when we have no choice

I'm finished talking to you as this has gone off topic. But I am confident in the knowledge that regardless of your troll posts the greater majority of the community would like to see a compromise and SC would be foolish to ignore them.

I don't do the actually buying. My money goes into a mutual fund. All that stuff about S&P and "tremendous returns" is just a percentage that I look at when I care to see how much extra money I'll have when I want to cash it out.

Thank you Steve for responding as well. I understand Supercells stance and knew about Marika's statement as well. I know that the intention is for the league badges to stay and levels hidden. I accept it but just wanted to state that I amongst many others don't like it. I still play COC but its just more annoying and and less fun now. For example I own a Porsche, Mercedes, BMW and Audi. They are all great cars but they all have flaws. But guess what? They actually do listen and try to improve and implement things to make their vehicles better every year. Sure they may have an idea that they think is great but nothing is every perfect and fine tuning is the key with these luxury cars. If One brand did it all right I might spend all my money on one brand rather than having to spread it out. For example Audi seems to listen to consumers better thus I have 2. BMW is slow to listen so I keep selling them and only buy back when they do finally listen and implement.

I am a farmer, but only because it's a necessary means. I trophy hunt as well but without farming the hunt would not be possible. Farming is a huge aspect of this game and steamrolling over lesser bases provides great enjoyment for me. But the resources are important. Every time I trophy hunt I know I need to max out my storages because above 2300 trophies I find i net negative resource raids in exchange for trophies. I will gem when storages are maxed or if I really need something from a new upgrade. However, I will farm the resources as I refuse to gem for that.

Without our experience levels I get little respect on global and getting that respect was an aspect of the game that I really enjoyed. New players looked up to me and asked for advice or would visit our clan cause we had many high level players. We communicated to them and taught them how to play the game effectively so that they can enjoy it. We tell them not to rush to TH8/9 and they listen to us. Supercell isn't doing this so we took it upon ourselves to educate. Without our levels new players brush our comments aside cause their fancy Gold badge is nicer than mine. We have helped educate and retain players in the game whereas these same players have told us they would ave quit because it was so frustrating to play. This game can be very enjoyable as we all know, but it takes some education and unfortunately most do not troll the forums like we do and may not give COC the chance it deserves.

Yes COC you are very successful. You must know what you are doing. But it doesn't hurt to listen. For those of you that say stop beating on the dead horse. If we don't speak up change will never happen. At least if we keep trying there might be the slightest possible chance.

Our clan averaged 12000 when we first started and now we hover around 16000. We are farmers that have an end goal and that goal is to hunt fro trophies. You just can't expect us to gem all the way to the top. That is unexciting and wouldn't be fun to play anymore.

Yes, I agree to everything. I am not sure when voicing a concern or complaints would warrant an attack by happy campers.

Call it "may w/o gems" and stop spending money on game for a month.
If you succeed to persuade people SC will notice and act. If you can't persuade people not to buy gems then just stop whining it won't change anything. They showed that they may implement player ideas but they don't reAlly care on player feed back afterwards.
Tl;dr either hit them where it hurts (money) or deal with it
