    [Boost] Laboratory

    Hello and thank you for taking your time to read what I have to say


    As many of you probably know almost everything that is non-defensive can be boosted with gems. You can boost resources, time for troops, spells and even your heroes.

    All these have one thing in common, production time which is speeded up with the boosting of gems. These are all good things and we all love boosting our resources etc. But as of late I have seen a lot of complaimts that laboratory time takes too long.

    My idea is to be able to boost this building, below I will show how this would work:


    Boosting a Laboratory:

    Cost: 50-100 gems
    Time boost will last: 3-4 hours
    Boost increase: 3x (three times fast)

    Boosting is unlocked at level 5-6 laboratory.

    If you like this idea or have some input to tell please share it and perhaps we can make our CoC experience a lot better!

    I like it

    I like the idea of making the wait for the troop upgrade to be a little shorter, without having to blow all your gems at once completing the upgrade. Good idea, except instead of it being for 3h or so, make the boost last until the upgrade is complete (Gems cost to x3 speed of upgrade will be adjusted accordingly).

    Thanks for opinionating

    I like that thought, it would be reasonable to believe it would last for the entire boost of course. Or I could raise the time to 10 hours maybe?

    The reason I think it should be for the entire boost is because for normal boosted structures (Barracks, Spell Factory, Pumps, Mines, Drills) The "allotted time" is most efficient because you can always make more things. With a Lab, you only upgrade something once (As in lvl 1 to lvl 2 or lvl 4 to lvl 5), but the wait can be painful, (for example, my current upgrade is 12d for lvl2 to lvl 3 PEKKA) 10h isn't going to do much for me, and I wouldn't spend gems on just boosting for 10h. It would make more sense to boost that entire upgrade (Lets take my PEKKA 12d upgrade for example) x3 to make my PEKKA upgrade last 4 days (If I chose to boost it in the very beginning). I don't want to spend over 1500 gems to complete the upgrade, but I don't want to wait 2 weeks for the upgrade to be complete either. That's why I believe boosting per upgrade seems like a better solution than a time-based instance.
