i don't see why anyone would want to go above that, my post was about getting to champions league not getting 800 trophies above it, most people are only interested in getting their, it's not a fun place to stay because it's impossible to keep your loot if you have a life.

You mentioned the top players not having as many defence wins as you. That is what I was referring to

Everyone knows that defending your way to Champ League is child's play with a maxed defense base and lego walls.

Which is why nobody brags about TH10 reaching champs these days. Well, almost nobody...

Unless your totally willing to sacrifice your loot in order to have a base that can get u there.

I was at 2980 ish recently.. and had 3 consecutive Gowipes with Jump spell on my base.. each one was a 2 star loss.. Not many trophies were lost but the loot loss was horrific. 900k Gold and 9K DE...

I must admit I haven't been able to find a base design that can live at that level whilst protecting resource coupled with not spending either hours online or using gems to boost stuff.

If there are any out there lets share them Im definitely gonna check the OP base.

Personally i found just putting my town hall outside when i'm going offline the best way to save loot, from master 2 onwards outside townhalls are so rare that most people are hapy to just take them with the archer queen and leave the rest of your loot alone, especially with the new loot bonus

Protecting resources while pushing? LOL. Didn't expect to hear that from such an experienced player.

In case you forgotten, this is Clash of Clans, a game with a broken loot and trophy system where gameplay at the highest cup level has the lowest loot reward to army cost ratio. A game where one sacrifices trophies to gain resources, and vice versa.

Any trophy base that has protected storages is not a trophy base. Any farming base that has protected TH is not a farming base.

I found this to be the case just below 2900..Once there I have been Sniped every single Time.

However above that I found that people just unleashed their full power as they knew the Trophies were safe. I am a Farmer and I am happy with Masters 2 League bonus, any higher and the possible Loot Losses just are not to my liking.

Didn't say I was pushing Did I ? Didn't say I was aiming for Champ League Did I ?

I am farming DE.. And was thinking that I would go from Master2 to Masters 1 for the extra 200 DE per Win.. Point I was trying to make is that any higher than Masters 2 (+2900) and your asking for a significant loot loss and ergo to me it aint worth the extra effort to go up past Masters2.

When SC make it worth my while then I will consider Champ League again... until that point I will continue to moving between Gold 1 (for Gold) and Masters 2 (for DE)


And my original post was more towards those that claim farming in champs league is good... like I say unless you gem or don't mind sitting tapping your screen for 6 hrs at a time it aint worth it

Yeah this is true. Last time I was in champs I kept my TH out and 8 out of 10 defenses were TH snipes from players much higher for a 1 cup loss. It actually loses you less trophies than having your TH in and it keeps your loot safer too.

OP, defending to champ is possible, continuing to climb in 3300+ and beyond is a different story! pair that with fact if you defended your way to champ then you lost the ability to compete at that level and a login saying +22 for a defense isn't quite as exciting as taking 22 cups from an attack and a fellow proud champ.

Essentially you are saying skip till you find full collectors every day till you farm or gem a lev 120+ base then sit and watch.?! No thanks I'd rather be at my Grans watching coronation st, congrats on champ man you earned it either way but don't encourage people to rely on defense and miss half of the actual games attributes, attack strategy is fun maybe you just haven't learnt it yet...

That's right, if u need gold for upgrades, then just get yourself to that spot and take a few screenshots to publicize yourself and then return. Think of living there permanently only if you are done with your town hall 10 upgrades. Even then, players do drop down to farm for elixir and then push back up yet again.
