Best Troop Composition for TH8 Gold 1/2 level Looting

As the subject header states, what's the best troop composition for TH8 Gold 2/3 level looting?

I've been at TH8 for just over a week, and I'm not finding a lot of bases that I can use BARCH to attack.

I have lvl 4 troops, except for loons. 200 troop size, lvl 9 barracks, and lvl 4 spells.

What is a good army composition that I can create at my current level that won't be expensive to build and most effective against the bases at the league that I'm in?

It's a whole lot easier when you have level 5 troops. Upgrade them and then try BARCH.

Prioritize your barbarians and archers when upgrading. They will defnitely be a huge help when raiding.

Go down a little in trophies so you can raid TH7 first until you have upgraded your farming troops to lvl 5. Once done you can easily raise your trophies to crystal league just by BAMing. The win bonus piles up and the higher the league the higher the net gain with just a low cost army composition.

I'm currently at gold 3.. I do see plenty of TH7 but they don't have a lot of loot.. And I've spent enough on nexting... I trophy jumped from silver 2 to gold 1 when I got to TH8 to compensate for the decrease in loot % when attacking lower THs.

loot was terrible ever since the update where you can dump elix on walls. But now that win bonus have been raised, though not significantly, league farming is better. He even mentioned that you can almost raid a base with ZERO resources so long as you can 1 star that base.

1. Drop to 1300-1350
2. Barch+Lightning spells on TH 7s
3. Upgrade Barchers to Lvl 5
4. Go back up
5. Have Fun looting!
